Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (Katunayake), you will be welcomed by your guide who will escort you to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for orphaned and injured elephants. Here, you can watch the elephants bathe in the river and, during designated times, feed them. Your journey continues with a visit to a herbal and spice garden, where you will be introduced to the island’s rich heritage of spices and Ayurvedic treatments. In the evening, you’ll check in at your hotel in Kandy and relax for the night.

On the third day, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” due to its colonial architecture and cool climate.
